Day 43: Soldiering On Despite Cookies

Nearly had another diet wobble today when my son bought home chocolate chip cookies from his cookery afternoon at school. There were loads of them and they were very chocolatey as the kids were allowed to use up all the ingredients as it was the last cookery session of this term!

I did have a small cookie. It was delicious! I at very little yesterday in calorific terms, I think… so perhaps thats why I am feeling hungry today… hungry for sugar specifically! Anyway I managed to do pretty well in the end… plus some toning exercises which I will share with you soon – when I get some time to write them up!

Food Diary Day 43

Breakfast: Menopause muesli – see breakfast recipe page

Lunch: Prawn, ready made sprouted pea & Bean salad, chickpeas, avocado, tomato, pepperdew peppers, olives & spinach – lots of phyto-estrogens, iron, good fats and protein

Dinner: Pan fried trout with rest of sprouted bean salad from lunch, spinach and beetroot

Snacks & Drinks: herbal tea. 6 squares dark chocolate, small cookie, 2 plums, slice menopause cake with tahini – see snack recipe page
