Day 38: Keeping Going

I like this poster. It acknowledges the enormity/difficulty of dieting and praises the small steps we take day by day to get us nearer to our goal.

Food Diary Day 38

Breakfast: Menopause muesli – see breakfast recipe page

Lunch: Mixed Salad – green salad, pulses (mixed bean salad), prawns, hummus, beetroot, cucumber, mozzarella, tomato, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries

Dinner: None

Snacks & Drinks: Herbal tea, 6 squares dark chocolate, slice menopause cake & tahini – see snack recipe page

Late breakfast, kept going in the middle by the menopause cake, then a late lunch with 2 helpings of salads. I think I ate enough at lunch for both meals so I skipped dinner – not out of guilt but because I was genuinely not hungry. I was still surprisingly bloated into the evening and am not really sure why. I didn’t think I ate that much! Anyway onwards. Tomorrow is another day.
